Happily ever after? If justice doesn’t triumph and love doesn’t make the circle in entertainment fiction, what’s the point? Real life sucks too often.

What is contemporary romance?
Contemporary romance is a story with the romantic relationship at its heart, that takes place within our current, modern world and time frame.
Personally, I would say that anything written and set from the 1950s onward, can be classed as contemporary romance. But as time passes, that will likely change.
In contemporary romance, our couple are adults.
Contemporary romance is the most popular classification in the romance genre and is one of the best-selling of all book sales.
