What is a romance anthology?
A romance anthology is a collection of short romance stories contained in a single book.
Often, romance anthologies focus on a certain theme. Christmas romance anthologies, Valentine’s romance anthologies and other holidays or celebrations are common. As are those grouped around a particular genre such as vampire romance anthologies or romance anthologies set in Victorian Britain.
You can choose an anthology where each story stands alone, or one where all the stories are built in a single world and overlap in some way.
Romance anthologies – or any sort of anthology – are also a great way to test out a new author to see if they are a good fit for you. You can then branch out to read an author’s full-length stories.
